Reservationsist

Job Location: Nihiwatu Head Office - Bali

· Female

· 2 years in a similar role within a 5 star luxury hotel/resort group.

· Excellent command of English language.

· Record and process all reservations, amendments and cancellations made by phone/fax/email, websites in line with company standards and within 24 hour period.

· Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.

· Check all reservations for the next arrival to ensure all details are correct and that all special requests are being fulfilled.

· Maintain knowledge of special rates / offers / promotions for the resort.

Office Manager & Personal Assistant

Job Location: Nihiwatu Head office - Bali

· Female, Indonesia citizen

· Demonstrable experience in office manager/executive assistant/PA role in a highly pressurised environment requiring tact, judgment and discretion in handling internal and external contacts (essential).

· Experience of diary management/researching and booking of travel and accommodation (essential).

· Experience of successfully working with senior management (essential).

· Must be proficient with the computer and IT applications.

· Expert level in the use of Outlook. Intermediate level in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

· Excellent organisational skills, ability to multi-task and organise others.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to professionally represent the company.

· Ability to work under pressure and be flexible as part of a small team.

· Attention to detail and deadlines.

· Ability to filter information and assess priorities.

· Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels, including during difficult or challenging circumstances.

· Ability to prioritise and manage own workload amid conflicting demands and busy work periods.

· Ability to think ahead and anticipate needs before they arise.

· Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters.

· Ability to travel

· Confident and able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision.

Sous Chef

Job Location: Nihiwatu Resort, West Sumba – NTT

To oversee operation of restaurant kitchen and other food production areas. The position is suited for someone who has a passion for cooking fresh, modern, light cuisine and is able to prepare dishes not only according to recipes but also according to what is available and in season.

The successful applicant should have the following qualities and experience:

· Indonesian citizen.

· Relevant experience in similar high-end operations.

· Strong kitchen leadership and organisational skills, as well as a keen eye for maintaining 5-star hygiene and sanitation standards.

· Flexible and able to cater to particular guest requests/ preferences/ allergies.

· Comfortable spending extended periods of time in a remote location.

· Able to mentor, coach, train and develop the Kitchen Brigade comprised of local island staff.

· Some experience with supervision of Food and Beverage Service and willing to assist with tasks beyond the scope of the job description.

Food & Beverage Manager

Job Location: Nihiwatu Resort, West Sumba - NTT

· Indonesian citizen, Male/Female, 25-38 years old.

· Comfortable spending extended periods of time in a remote location.

· At least six years experience in F&B Department with progressive growth in addition to Hotel/hospitality Management School with at least three years in a Management position. Kitchen/Stores/Financial background preferred.

· Have sound knowledge of food & beverage products.

· Have refined skills in public relations.

· Demonstrated ability to work with Microsoft Office software, Stock Control System; POS System.

· Candidate must be aware of Management functions and have the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel and guests.

· Ability to manage section heads, supervisors and staff must be apparent.

· Must be able to check cost control reports and be fully aware of the internal organisation of a catering department of a resort.

Assistant Head Accountant

Job Location: Nihiwatu Resort, West Sumba - NTT

· Indonesian citizen.

· Comfortable spending extended periods of time in a remote location.

· Minimum D-3 in Accounting, a first degree in Finance would be an added advantage.

· Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control.

· Demonstrated ability to work with Microsoft Office software.

· Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.

· Ability to multi-task.

· Having a good team work, self motivated and hard worker.

Training Manager

Job Location: Nihiwatu Resort, West Sumba - NTT

· Indonesian citizen.

· Comfortable spending extended periods of time in a remote location.

· Working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.

· Liaising with a wide range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance, and health and safety.

· Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.

· Administering payroll and maintaining employee records.

· Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures.

· Planning, and sometimes delivering, training, including inductions for new staff.

The Employer will provide the employee with all meal, non-alcohol beverages and accommodation while working at Nihiwatu Resort in Sumba. Including return flight tickets for R&R and Annual Leave.
