Batiqa Hotel Karawang
Newly launch hotel with 137 rooms, located in Surya Cipta Industrial Estate
is looking for:

"Executive Chef"

Requirements:

Must have food specialties of Asian & International Cuisine
Minimum 2 or 3 years as Executive/Head Chef in a well-known restaurant group or hotel.
Knowledgeable of all aspects of kitchen operations
Ability to speak and communicate effectively before groups of customers, guests and employees
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
A strong leader, motivator and communicator. A vibrant and positive go-getter attitude. A self-starter who takes on challenges and works at seeing them through.
Excellent knowledge of local and imported ingredients varieties
Should be highly creative & innovative
Demonstrated ability to control food and labour costs
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Pre-opening team background would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

Actively involved in the menu development and menu changes
Identifies relevant and appraisal components for cost efficient operations
Establishes standards and guidelines which will ensure the high levels of food service quality and departmental productivity
Achieves and surpasses budgeted revenues, minimizes cost and increases profitability in the departmental operations
Ensures productivity, consistency, product quality assurance for food production
Oversees quality control and authenticity of all products prepared and served
Oversees inventories, pricing, cost controls, requisitioning, issuing supplies and equipment for food production
Develops and maintains positive and productive working relationships with the staff and other colleagues
Maintains a high standard of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practice
Develops effective training plans for all subordinates and direct their training and development
Maintains high integrity standards, excellent communications and manages expectations across the team
